Schools – Learning through music

Introducing play based learning into the classroom with African styled drums called Djembe's.

Using rhythm and games, these sessions aren't just about music – they're about building skills essential for our young learners such as:

  • Turn-taking and listening skills
  • Building community connections
  • Learning cool rhythms
  • Regular, fun activities
  • Teamwork and cooperation
  • Boosting confidence and expressiveness
  • Understanding emotions for better relationships
  • Life skills and self-discipline

During these 1 hour long sessions everyone gets a drum to play on and I can facilitate group sizes up to 30 people.

Students are able to perform for their school at the end of a term too!
